Since my last post, I have had two eye surgeries and lost all normal sight in my right eye. This had been life changing. I have been trying to define what I do now and how to move forward. Honestly, if you are looking for some rosy, bright, uplifting, fluffy piece of writing please there are plenty of those in devotionals. This process of moving forward is gritty, sweaty, and takes time. If I am authentic with the reader, I have been in the process of moving forward after each hardship or trauma I encounter. What has helped? Honest friends and acquaintances who know when it is time to give the loving shove to push me out of the mote I have dug for myself.

I look forward to coming back to this blog on a more regular basis. I hope to had more stories and thoughts on making it through.
